The ecological restoration and protection of tropical rainforest in Xishuangbanna

Tropical rainforest is one of the most important ecosystems on earth. It plays a significant role in maintaining genetic diversity. Goodtonature will be restoring the tropical rainforest ecosystem and the residents living in the rainforest environment, in particular in the Xishuangbanna rainforest. The tropical rainforest in Xishuangbanna, in China, has a very high protection value, but the degradation of the tropical rainforest has raised concerns. Goodtonature plans to introduce a healthy agricultural circle like "an economic system of the primeval-like rainforest" and aim to help increase the average income by 10% before 2030. It is estimated that the initial restoration of about 1,500 mu of local land will be completed by 2030. Moreover, Goodtonature will also disseminate scientific concepts related to tropical rainforest, to catch attention, raise awareness, and provide opportunities to participate for the social actors and the urban residents.
